STAND WITH MAGDALENE FOR FIST REPRESENTATIVE

Kisii University will be holding its  congress election on Tuesday 6th/March .I got a chance talk to talk one Beautiful but Ambitious girl who is vying for congress under Faculty of Information Science and Technology  MAGDALINE M Kilonzo.

You might be saying to yourself, "Should Maggie really be the FIST student leader? After all, she's only been at our school for three years."But these is what she told me and my Media Friends..

"From the first day I arrived at Kisii University, I knew I wanted to become more involved. From serving as Class Representative of Computer Science to helping plan Cultural Week these year, I consistently spend time in leadership roles and try to make this school an even better place than it already is.
Many of you probably know me from my work with Computer  Club and the volunteer time I've spent at Sunnyvale Nursing Home and cleaning up our community park.
It probably won't surprise you that I have decided to run for student council for the role of  Faculty Of Information Technology(FIST). As the leader of FIST, I will strive to continue to make improvements in the school for every student here in the FIST Faculty

-Efficient and Effective processing of Transcript
-Well Established Studio for Media Students
  -Well Equipped Computer Labs
  -Academic Trips
  -Service to comrades without discrimination
The student council works side-by-side with the student body and the administration to ensure student events throughout the year are successful. As your representive, I will ensure that you have a memorable year.
Today, I am asking for your vote for  MAGDALENE M.KILONZO. Should you elect me, I will listen to your concerns and work hard for you. Thank you."

Lets meet on Sakagwa S15 Tomorrow and Vote for Maggie for FIST REP.

Full interview with Pulse Network:
Navigator:What do you are plans/goals these year
Stone fabb:I am planning to do a collabo with a big artist from East Africa
Navigator:How did you fall in love with Hip Hop music and culture? Who were some of your Hip Hop favorites, then? And now?
stone fabb: I grew up on Hip Hop, just like the average kid having heard the early Hip Hop tapes- Biz Markie, Kool Moe Dee and the rest. It was natural that as an urban African kid, I just fell in love.  Biggie, Nas, Rakim are my Hip Hop icons that I look up to. Talib Kweli is the truth! I can’t wait to bring him to Kenya.

NavigatorWhen did you first encounter Kenyan Hip Hop? Can you tell us a little something about the Hip Hop scene in Kenya?
Stone FabbIn 2000, there was  a group in Kenya called K-South this is one of the early groups that influenced Hip Hop in the country. I was just minding my business when I bumped into one of the members, Bamboo. I told him I was a rapper and he showed me his world. Which was a whole lot of Hip Hop. At the time, it was them and Kalamashaka that were starting hip hop movements in Kenya.
Navigator:Is there a characteristic sound or quintessential Kenyan Hip Hop style?
Stone FabbThe Kenyan sound is very edgy, gritty beats and lyrical. You have to have punch-lines or else the song gets no love.
Stone fabb

Navigator:What is your dream for the Hip Hop community in Kenya? And the world?
Stone fabb: For Kenya I would love to see more Kenyan Hip Hop integrated into the world. For the world, I would love to see more Hip Hop artists collaborating with each other on an international stage.
Kisii university Cultural Week 2018
The last Kisii University cultural week was not quite a success for us comrades..I was a member of media production And these are the three things that should be improve these year..
1.The system were some how poor.. If I can remember very well the first and the second day we had to close the function before 11pm because the sound system malfunction
kisii university cultural week
2 .Few artists I remember we could stay and wait for more than 20minutes without anyone on the stage even the Mcee ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ
3.One Main Artist-am talking about King kaka who came to perform around 4am{what a waste}.
